Founded in 2014, the Nueva Feminism Club has been growing steadily since its creation; in four short years we’ve more than doubled our size in terms of club members and conference attendees! We are a passionate and diverse group of twenty-five students, all bringing different perspectives and ideas to create an inspiring and intersectional Feminism Conference, this year hoping to host more than 120 attendees. While the Feminism Conference is our main event, we work throughout the year to raise awareness about gender equality in our school community. Last year, we launched a program called “Feminist Fridays,” a bi-annual event encouraging students to donate to Feminist organizations; we are proud to have raised over 450 dollars in one lunch time! Each and every one of us is excited to meet you at the 4th Annual Nueva Feminism Conference!
